The Sri Lanka green pigeon (Treron pompadora) is a species of pigeon in the genus Treron. This bird, along with several other green pigeons, is known as bata goya in Sinhala in Sri Lanka. It can be found in Sri Lanka’s forests. Many experts believe that the species is distinct from the pompadour green pigeon complex.
